Welcome to the Goodwill Association of Western Australia Inc., an embodiment of compassion and solidarity, extending its arms across borders to Burma (Myanmar), we exist with a singular purpose – to serve as a beacon of hope for those in need.
Our efforts are guided by the principles of love and compassion, inspired by the wise words of Saint Augustine:
“What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like.”
In our hometown of Perth, Western Australia, we serve as a ray of hope for the homeless and those struggling to make ends meet. Through our work, we endeavour to alleviate their immediate needs by providing basic food supplies and financial assistance. Each package of support that we deliver is not just a mere donation; it is an affirmation of our commitment to our fellow human beings.
Beyond our shores, our work transcends borders into Burma, where we touch lives in multifaceted ways. We uplift spirits in Aged Care Homes by supplying basic food items and essential medication. These homes, while humble, bring immeasurable happiness and tranquility to their residents, assuring them of a safe shelter and regular meals.
We also champion the dreams of young people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds in Burma. By funding their educational needs – from books and stationery to uniforms and nutritional allowances – we empower them to break the chains of poverty and to build a brighter future.
With love in our hearts, we, at the Goodwill Association, continue to create ripples of change with every act of kindness. Join us as we strive to make a lasting impact, one gesture of goodwill at a time.
